About Me

Anterpreet Neki
Jacksonville, Florida, United States
Anterpreet is a self–taught artist. By profession, he is an Oncologist , on faculty at The Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, Jacksonville, Florida. After understanding various principles of design, perspective, and color theory, he passionately experimented with various painting techniques. His works have included landscapes, still lifes, florals, portraits and abstracts, in watercolors and acrylics. He paints whatever stirs his soul. He feels there is art in the practice of medicine and science in principles of design. He is an inducted member of The Central Ohio Watercolor Society (COWS). His work has been exhibited at the Brush 2003, The Ohio Bicentenary Watercolor Exhibition, the Delaware Arts Castle, The Dublin Bicentennial Art Exhibition, Westerville Community Centre solo art exhibition(Dec 2011) . He has given demos at the Franklin Park Conservatory. His work is published in Splash 16, The Best of Watercolor. He has eyes of a physician, hands of an artist, and the spirit of a gypsy. To capture mood in the flow of light, and present his version of this song and dance, through brush, is his passion.
